My rehab experience at the Orchid quite literally saved my life and was the best health decision I have made to date. That was 3 years ago. It gave me the foundation to return to a clean and sober way of life with new tools for living I had never had before. I found the women's only environment uniqe, safe, and for the first time in many years a place to get truly open and honest about my addiction and the wreckage it was causing to myself, my family and way of life I had been living. I even made a few life long new friends it has been a pleasure to keep in touch with and since returning home to Louisiana developed new and treasured relationships among others in the recovery community. Our 12 step way of life has been a Godsend and despite the untimely death of my spouse, and some other challenging changes I remain clean,so grateful for this community and one of the Orchid's biggest cheerleaders!
