Wow, Susan. That’s great that you have taken such a popular song about addiction and personalized it to empower yourself. It certainly takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there and admit your addiction, whether you are a celebrity or not:)

I’m so glad you wrote in - It’s good to know that even though Amy is struggling in some ways, her music is truly speaking to many people out there with similar addiction struggles. And especially, speaking to women (like yourself) who are wrestling with that critical step - rehab.

I really like her music as well, though I haven’t listened as much you seem to have! But it seems to be something I should pick up for myself. Keep saying your own lyrics to yourself about rehab and feel free to write in any time. If you want, let us know how your rehab experience goes.

Best wishes to you,
Erika

My favorite song as of late is "Rehab". For a while now I felt as if I was being forced into treatment. I can relate to Amy in most ways except for her celebrity status and of course her awesome talent. Some of her other songs speak to me as well, as I can identify thoroughly.
Some of the songs are: "Back to Black, You Know I'm No Good, Love is A Losing Game, Stronger Than Me, Wake Up Alone, Tears Dry On Their Own and.....well I guess the whole dang CD!! Thanks for this post. I'm ready to go to rehab and am writing a song to the tune of "Rehab" but instead of saying No, no, no..I wrote I gotta go to rehab, I said yeah, yeah, yeah!

Thanks for this post and Amy, I send my love and support to a fellow addict/alcoholic. I hope for the best for you and me.
