Here at Orchid Recovery Center we are passionate about being active in the local community, either by donating our time or money to help out those in need. Everyone at some point in their lives needs a helping hand and we feel it's our responsibility to pay it forward in charitable contributions. We don't do it out of obligation - we do it out of the goodness of our hearts.

Recent Charity Work

2010

• We have partnered up with KIVA to help provide low-income women who have an entrepreneurial spirit with the resources necessary to realize their business dreams. As of November 2009, KIVA has loaned out over $100 million to underprivileged entrepreneurs; money that is not expected to be repaid. 2011

• The Orchid has joined forces with Team Heifer in an effort to fight world hunger. Through the charity work of Heifer International, residents of impoverished villages hit by hard times can get back on their feet with the donations of supplies and livestock needed for a more sustainable livelihood. • Along with Orchid, you can now help women and men that have been sexually and physically abused by contributing to the Orchid Recovery Rainnmaker page for the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN). RAINN offers a nationwide abuse hotline for victims of sexual abuse.
